Holly Hitchcock has been a legal and judicial educator, mediator, and teacher for 32 years. During her work as Executive Director of the Rhode Island Supreme Court MCLE Commission she became interested in mediation and its emerging impact in Rhode Island. She was appointed by Chief Justice Frank J. Williams to the Alternative Dispute Resolution Task Force chaired by the late Honorable John P. Bourcier.
Holly holds a Certificate in Family Mediation from Roger Williams University, a Masters degree in counseling from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelors Degree in Education from Rhode Island College. She has lectured on mediation as well as legal and judicial education at local and national conferences. She has been a frequent guest lecturer at Roger Williams University School of Law in the Alternative Dispute Resolution and Family Law courses, as well and the 40 Hour Divorce Mediation training. Holly is known for her energetic commitment to education, human dignity, workable conciliation and compassionate, often transformative resolution.
